I was born and raised in South Texas and graduated from Gonzales High School. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Education and Biology. While at Texas Tech, I studied agricultural science abroad in China and Costa Rica, completed undergraduate research through the Honors College, participated in various organizations, worked for the university, and was on the 2008 Champion Wool Judging Team and 2009 National Champion Meat Science Quiz Bowl Team. My husband, Micah, is a County Extension Agent for Mason County and we have one daughter, Kamille, and are expecting our second in March 2019. We are truly blessed to be a part of the Mason Puncher Community.
I do not ask for perfection; I ask for perfect effort.
