Welcome to my page! Thank you for stopping by and learning a little bit about me. I am originally from Hallettsville, Texas where I grew up and attended school before moving to college. I have a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University). Before becoming a teacher, I obtained a certificate in nursing from Sul Ross State University. I worked as an LVN for two years before starting my family. I began my teaching career at Rocksprings High School where I taught for two years. I taught Chemistry, AP Biology, IPC, and Biology. While at Mason High School, I have taught Chemistry, Pre-Ap Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Physics, AP Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. This will be my 16th year teaching at Mason High School. I am currently teaching Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Advanced Physics. My husband, Cody Hatfield, is a Captain Game Warden for Texas Parks & Wildlife and we have two children, Mason (17) and Laila (11).
