Mason Jr. High Robotics - Take top honors at competition!

At the area contest January 19th, Mason had 6 teams competing. Mason’s team of Jack Gillespie, Wyatt Row, Cy Nobles, and Ryne Todd placed 4th with their automated tractor. The team of Leroy Bobbitt, Laney Lastly, and Cutter Couvillion, placed 3rd with their automated plant picker. Taking 2nd place, and qualifying to go to state robotics in May, were Hunter Bradley, Jordan Lyles, and Scout Magnus. 
On February 1st, the Mason Jr. High had 9 robotics teams competing at the San Angelo Stock Show. Mason took home 3rd place with an automated robot that protects livestock from predators, created by Garrett Lindsay, Walker Ince, Anna Whitworth, and Ainsley Burns. Winning first place, with an automated robotic feeder, was Jackson Lehmberg and Ethan Roberts. 
Other robotic competitors include: Kamryn Loeffler, Maci Menchaca, Avery Burns, Brooklyn Gleghorn, Mason Hatfield, Madelyn Williams, Cannon Rabon, Matthew Norman, Carlton Schmidt, Rylan Todd, Gracie Lehmberg, Hannah McFarland, Emma McCrea, Cypress VanDelist, and Drake Lehmberg. The robotics team would like to thank those who have supported us along the way.
