Puncher Band

Welcome to the Mighty Mason Puncher Band Homepage!

I've attached the NEW summer band schedule as well as tried to post it in different spots.  I've also added it to the MISD District Calendar.  If you have any questions or concerns please email me!  Our UIL Region Marching Contest has been set for November 14th in Burnet.  If/when we receive a 1st division at that contest we will qualify for Area Marching Contest which will be on December 3rd (Thursday) at a site yet to be determined.  In the past it's been around Waco or close to Ft. Worth.  As soon as I know the site I'll update it here.
I'm not the best at keeping things updated on here - especially during these crazy ever-changing times!  So if you are looking for specific info on something you can try our facebook page or just contact me directly.  Email me ( or call the band hall (325-347-1122, ext 227) and leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
Dates for the entire year have been posted under the band calendar page.  There are 2 pdf files you can access - one showing dates for the entire year and one showing the schedule for Summer Band.
Even though this last year (2019-20) got cut short we were lucky enough with the HS band to be able to accomplish our goals before everything got shut down!  We achieved a 1st division in Marching, 1st division in Concert, and 1st division in Sight Reading.  That gave us our 2nd consecutive year of Sweepstakes!  Congrats HS Band!
We are looking forward to next year when the band will have the chance to advance to Area and hopefully State for Marching.  As well as continue the streak of Sweepstakes going!

The fall is here and with that Puncher football AND Concession Stand Duty!!!  If you have a band student in grades 5-12 please plan to help Mason Band Boosters run the Friday night concession stand. An updated listing of who is working when will be posted below as soon as we have one.  We have changed things this year - instead of having to work an ENTIRE half of football now we ask that you work ONE HOUR!!! :)  Please do everything you can to show up for your hour of work and if you can't attend that hour assigned to you PLEASE let us know or find a different date you can work and let us know of that.  We need full participation in order to have an efficient concession stand that raises money to support our band!
