**We set the date for the 11th - but now I'm hearing they may move it to the 4th. (December).  As soon as I hear which one it will be I will post it here.  I have left most of what is below from last year because I anticipate it being very similar - when it gets closer to the contest date I'll update it with our current plan.**

 

****LAST YEAR'S PLAN*****

Our JH UIL District Academic meet will be held in Goldthwaite on December 6th.  We will have 2 waves of buses going down and coming back.  Early bus will leave at 6:50 am; late bus will leave at 8:50 am.  Then the early bus will get home around 4:30 pm and the late bus will get home around 7:00 pm.  We will feed the kids pizza for lunch.  There will be a concession stand so if they want to bring money to buy something during the day they can.

 

Our meet will be held at the Middle School, but students will be held at the HS gym across the street.  The schedule for the day is below.  Permission slips will be sent home with the students and information as to whether they will be riding the early or late bus will be emailed out soon.

 

Please make sure your child is prepared - they know what to do for their event and have been practicing!  Speakers will need to have "church" clothes and be dressed very nicely for their event.  We'd like everyone else to look nice - nothing fancy, but let's represent Mason well.  If students have any questions - about the day or their event - they need to contact their coaches.  Coaches for the events is listed at the bottom of this page.  If you have any other questions please contact Mr. Halamicek - [email protected].
