Welcome to my page! Thank you for stopping by and learning a little bit about me. I am originally from Hallettsville, Texas where I grew up and attended school before moving to college. I have a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University). Before becoming a teacher, I obtained a certificate in nursing from Sul Ross State University. I worked as an LVN for two years before starting my family. I began my teaching career at Rocksprings High School where I taught for two years. I taught Chemistry, AP Biology, IPC, and Biology. While at Mason High School, I have taught Chemistry, Pre-Ap Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Physics, AP Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. This will be my 17th year teaching at Mason High School. I am currently teaching Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Advanced Physics. My husband, Cody Hatfield, is an Investigator for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Internal Affairs Department. We have two children, Mason, who is attending Texas Christian University, and Laila, who is in the 6th grade.
