Babysitters are Needed!

Friday Night Football Concession Stand
If you would like to sign up to work in the Friday night concession stands at the home games, contact Marla Schooley. You can call her at this number: 347-4201 or you can e-mail her at [email protected]. This will count for community service hours.
Bluebonnet Study Club
The Study Club is going to be packing up books at the library and moving them to allow for some maintenance. If you are interested in helping, call Ms. Julie Harrison at 347-1070 to volunteer.
After the Bell
Contact Mrs. Gonzales at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer to help with snacks, reading and homework at the after school program.
Mason Elementary School
Volunteers are neeeded to help decorate classrooms and hallways. Contact Mrs. Parrish at 347-2188.
Habitat for Humanity

Community Thrift Sore
Volunteers are needed to open the thrift store on Saturdays from 10:00 - 2:00. You can volunteer once or once a month. See Mrs. Canfield for information on who to contact.
Mason Square Museum
Hosts are needed on Saturdays from 10-4. See Mrs. Canfield, and she will put you in contact with the person who will train you.
Remember that volunteering is a very important part of your resume. Don't wait until your senior year to start; by then, it is almost too late! College applications and scholarship applications put a big emphasis on volunteer work.
I am including some ideas about volunteer opportunities in Mason. But don't limit yourself to what's listed here. Think outside the box! Ask around; there are lots of ways to help people.
